BeeTV Black Screen With Sound
Video decode, HDCP and HDMI causes for a black picture with working audio.

Audio playing over a black picture is a decode or display-path problem, and it narrows the possibilities usefully.
Video decode failure
Audio decodes on the CPU cheaply while video needs hardware support. When the video codec — often HEVC 10-bit or AV1 — is unsupported, the audio track continues and the picture never arrives. Switching to software decoding or a different player is the diagnostic test.
HDCP and HDMI
- Reseat the HDMI cable and try a different port.
- HDMI switches, splitters and older AV receivers frequently break handshakes.
- Some capture and matrix hardware causes exactly this symptom.
Display settings
A resolution or refresh-rate mode the panel cannot accept will produce a black picture with intact audio. Set the device output to a mode you know the display supports — 1080p60 is a safe baseline.
