BeeTV Not Working: Diagnostic Checklist

How to tell whether a total failure is your device, your network, or the app's upstream sources being gone.

'Not working' covers everything from a dead icon to a working interface with no playable content. Separating those cases is the whole job.

Step 1: does the interface load?

If the app opens and shows posters, the app itself and its metadata source are fine. The failure is in playback or link retrieval — see the no-links page. If it does not open at all, the problem is local: storage, permissions or an incompatible build.

Step 2: local checks

  • Confirm at least 15 percent free storage; low space causes most opening failures.
  • Clear cache from Settings › Apps › (app) › Storage.
  • Reboot the device fully rather than just sleeping it.
  • Verify the network works in another app on the same device.

Step 3: recognise upstream failure

If the interface loads, the network is fine, and nothing plays across many different titles, the sources are gone. This is the normal end state for aggregators after enforcement action against the indexes they use. There is no setting, cache clear or reinstall that restores a supply of links that no longer exists.

Step 4: decide

At that point the practical choice is a licensed service. Free options such as Tubi, Pluto TV and Plex free channels install from the official store on every platform and keep working.

Frequently asked questions

Will reinstalling fix it?
Only if the cause is local corruption. It cannot restore upstream sources, and reinstalling from an unverified mirror adds risk.
